of course,one or more of you will understand why i am in error,but it appears to me that mcneal and sanders were/are listed as top performers...good 40 times,etc....so now,wiser ones...where will they go in the draft...4th round? higher? or lower?

Players with unverified heights in high school continue to shrink in College. I always enjoy this time of year. Emmanuel Sanders listed at 6-1 when recruited in high school based on UN-official accounts now is measured at 5-11.
Meanwhile Shawnbrey McNeil's whose height was verified at 5-9 out of high school remained 5-9 at the NFL Conbine w/o shrinkage.
Moral: 80% of the time unverified heights from recruiting sources are inflated. Bank it.

Both short term financially and long term career-wise... it may be better for Shawnbrey if he goes undrafted than if he gets picked very, very late.
As a FA, he can choose to go to camp with a team that may have needs or a system more suited to his talents.
A 6th or 7th rounder is not going to receive any significant financial benefit over a FA if they don't make the team, anyway.

that's a reason I always get a chuckle when someone says I know Justin Willis or someone is 6-1 because I looked him in the eyes-but did you check out those athletic shoes they are usually wearing?
