"commitments will come fast"

that sounds good, especially if they come from our top choices...and we hold onto them.

really need a strong 2010 season to keep the momentum going...still have a long ways to go to catch up with TCU. That's the measuring stick. The frogs have proven that a small private school in a non-BCS conference CAN play top 10 caliber football.

looking forward to the day SMU vs TCU is an event of national interest...once again!

I predict 'pick-six' coming up. They will be official after next weekends visits.

I am a lot more concerned with Coach Rs health. He was to have had surgery on Wednesday I thought, and if so it was to tell him the extent of the cancer. Any word or is he just keep it private, which I would respect, or was I off on my days?

I believe the cancer is a melanoma skin cancer which is usually an in office type surgery. I just wonder if he has to undergo chemo. If they catch it early, sometimes the MOS surgery is all that is necessary.

I thought he HAD skin cancer that now has apparently metastasized to his stomach. I think he originally went back to the doctor because he thought he was having peptic ulcers...is that right?

melonoma is not a mos surgery - it is an excision of the the cancer and surrounding skin tissue - pray it was caught early....and please, wear sunscreen and keep your kids protected

Catching it early is the most important thing. I just had the removal of one on my forehead. They dig until they get it all. Mine was caught in time thankfully. Will be wearing a cap from now on when I work outside. Had a few smaller ones burned off as well. Hopefully coach will be fine.

That's what MOS surgery is. I've had it done 3 times and a couple of dozen others removed.
