Four More SMU Games Selected For National Television
Six Of 12 2010 Regular-Season Games Slated For National Broadcast

April 1, 2010

DALLAS (SMU) - CBS College Sports has selected four more 2010 SMU football games for national broadcast, the cable network announced today. Home games against Washington State and Houston will air on the network, as will road games at Navy and East Carolina.

To accommodate the national television broadcasts, SMU will kick its Sept. 18 game against Washington State, its Oct. 16 meeting with Navy in Annapolis and its Oct. 23 Homecoming contest against Houston at 2:30 p.m. CT. The regular season finale against at East Carolina, originally scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 27, will be moved up to a Friday afternoon kickoff, with the network setting a 1 p.m. CT kickoff time on Nov. 26.

These additions give SMU six games on national TV in 2010, as ESPN previously selected SMU's Sept. 5 season opener at Texas Tech and the Sept. 24 Battle For The Iron Skillet against rival TCU.

Even more television selections may be made in the coming weeks.

For Mustang ticket information, call the SMU Ticket Office at (214) 768-4263.

that's a Season Ticket Package right there for the price of Cable. Sounds like a bargain.

night away games on tv would be choice. I am more than fine with these day games on the tv. This is real recognition of a program on the upswing.

And it may be more. CBS College still has some flex on their schedule at the end of the season, and it's likely that Marshall @ SMU will fill one of those slots on Nov. 20.
