Jeff's positive vibe is contagious, people love to be around, people like him. "You can catch more fly's with honey than vinegar." Some people should try this philosophy, for a change of pace.

Nah, I like the "lock them in the shed" approach.

I still remember how Jeff worked as a Graduate Assistant at Hawaii for a year just because of JJ. He wanted to work for JJ and Hawaii didn't have any open coaching spots, so Jeff basically worked for free for a year...and from what I've been told he was the same hard-working coach back then that he was after he got an assistant coaching spot (published reports said his salary was $60k in 2007) on JJ's staff.

He is a tireless recruiter and can coach on offense or defense, wherever he's needed to be put. He would have been JJ's defensive coordinator during Hawaii's Sugar Bowl year, but McMackin came available to replace Glanville and slightly edged out Jeff.

Anyway, I had a few free minutes and thought I'd give a little more background on Coach Reinebold.

Thanks for the quick update and we hope and pray that his health problems are behind him, for good!
