Contact has been made. It appears the Big 12 will need to repair its northern half in the near future.

So, if Nebraska is a target, it makes sense that they will be paired with Missouri. The next question is whether the Big Ten/11 wants 14 or 16 members?

Notre Dame remains the only school capable of limiting their expansion to 12. If Nebraska and MO are invited, then ND is on the clock. Join now (or forever hold your piece) and you will be part of 14 respected members of the conference.

Nebraska played in South Bend in Sept. 2000 and brough 30K fans to watch an overtime victory. Spectacular performance by both teams and the traveling Cornhuskers.

If ND defers, then sixteen is the likely number by adding Rutgers, Pitt and Syracuse.
