good to hear he made it to MS. There are a lot of good Juco football players down there.
I wonder if as Stallion said it could be a 2010 guy?
Either way a Juco DT could help us out anyday.

I've got a damn good guess.
I can play this game too-who am I Reinbold"
4 star Offensive Lineman out of high school-signed with Georgia-Scout shows that academically he had good grades out of high school. Transferred to Mississippi JC and became a Defensive Tackle. huge in all size categories-listed as a commitment to Southern but I can't see that he actually signed with them at least on signing date-maybe he got out of that commitment somehow. Who am I?
Just a guess but ...

If this is him, he would be eligible now since he was eligible out of high school notwithstanding any post high school grade problems, right?

Just a guess but ...
Chris Little? Transferred to Northwest Mississippi from Georgia after switching his commitment from Notre Dame.
Did I win, did I win?

As alluded to above, he's 6'6 and 355

I believe he switched his commitment from Notre Dame, to Florida State and then to Georgia...past problems don't seem to be grades or athleticism though one report said he was low on the depth chart at Georgia (he was just a freshman, probably thought he'd be all SEC his freshman year). Four star offensive lineman out of high school. Seems kinda strange to see such a prototypically tall OL prospect make the move to DL.

Yeah that's who I was wondering about-however he did apparently sign with Southern-not sure if he is still at that Mississippi JC or he transferred at mid-term. I assume NAIA letters of intent can not be rescinded to sign with D1A but not exactly sure.
Another guy-to check on is John Brown who apparently was set to sign with Tennessee IF he graduated from a Mississippi JUCO. Note he really committed to the prior Tennessee coaching staff so things could have changed when new staff arrived. They weren't sure he would qualify. If the player is a 2010(which we really don't know) he's got to be of decent caliber to have 4 schools still chasing him this late-and one of the reasons could be that the recruit might be a late qualifier-grades will be coming in soon for Spring Semester.

To someone who asked why Alabama would help us... this comment by Stallion is a good answer. If help us keeps the recruit out of the hands of SEC competition then that makes sense.
