Re: ESPN: More Big 12 Expansion Cannon FodderYes the Big XII will take Tulsa & TCU to replace Mizzou & Nebraska...THAT'LL SHOW EM!!!!
Really though I expect BYU & TCU to get offered...or Utah.
Re: ESPN: More Big 12 Expansion Cannon FodderAll these scenarios look to the future, and I think I would bet on June Jones over Tulsa or Houston. Even though their past 5 years have been better, 2012, 2013, 2014, etc.... is what is important. Or am I just drinking the kool aid?
Re: ESPN: More Big 12 Expansion Cannon Fodder
Not if everything goes down in the next 12-18 months
Re: ESPN: More Big 12 Expansion Cannon Fodder
UT will never let UH into the Big XII. UH's academic record/standards quite frankly pisses off those in Austin. "smupony94: Harry, you have been promoted to purveyor of official status capabilities."
Re: ESPN: More Big 12 Expansion Cannon Fodder
Not Utah because they are going to Pac-10, and not TCU unless UT and A&M leave the conference. No way UT and A&M legitimize TCU's program like that. The BCS/Non-BCS thing is the only advantage those two have over TCU right now, and they realize that.
Re: ESPN: More Big 12 Expansion Cannon Fodder
Many High Schools have higher academic standards than UH! GO MUSTANGS!
Re: ESPN: More Big 12 Expansion Cannon FodderHouston---What about Tech (the "thirteenth grade") and Okie State--How many of you thought the most amazing thing about the Dallas Cowboy's first round draft choice was that he was able to get into OSU and secondly that he was able to stay there beyond the first semester? I wonder if he beat Vince Young's record low score on the Wonderlic test?
Re: ESPN: More Big 12 Expansion Cannon FodderThe Great Forrest Gregg once said that you could spell cat like kat and get into coug. high.
Re: ESPN: More Big 12 Expansion Cannon FodderTulsa also does not have alot of Alumni $ behind the program...Never happen. No way they would take tulsa over SMU and the Dallas/Ft. Worth market is 10 times better population wise than tulsa.
