Not sure if its been posted.. sorry if it has.. but he seems like a workhorse type back... not very fast, but does possess deceptive speed and quickness... and is one tough back to bring down... one thing for sure is if he has a chance to pick up a first down he will, on pure will... his balance is uncanny...

Impressed. Well spoken kid. No doubt he has his head on straight. Staying in Texas and an education are the two most important things to him. Quoted the fact that RBs in the NFL last 2-3 years and an education stays with you forever. Sounds like SMU and K.C. will be a nice combo. Nice video too. Looks like the kind of RB JJ covets.

Seems like a great person and football player. The type of student athlete that will thrive at SMU in a number of ways.

The coaching staff really wasn't focused on getting a 2011 RB as they have a priority system in place for recruiting ( 4 Ol, 4 DL etc.), so a RB like KC commiting was a surprise and 'found money' for the program.
He is a great get and watch how his status will blow up this year in Houston. He will only put up bigger numbers with better strength and quickness realized from his off season training. This is a kid who appears to realize what an education provides him and appreciates it long term.
