While TCU definitely has more recent skins on the wall, attendance this season has to improve for the purple puke and the Ponies. As Kate pointed out in her SMU/TCU conference expansion article in today's DMN, with all of TCU's recent success, they still rarely sellout their 44,000-seat stadium. Attendance and TV ratings will ultimately be the deciding factors in who ends up where. A 4.3 Nielsen rating in DFW means a helluva lot more than a 4.3 rating in Boise or Tulsa. But to make that happen we've got to get more casual area football fans to notice.....I hope our Marketing Department is ready. The time is now.
