I guess its old news now: Hyman will accept invitation ...

this is from the c-usa board re/ his announcement last about accepting the 'potential' offer - if it is true which some of the purple goo are denying:
"The AD for TCU, Eric Hyman, was on KZN1280, SLC, last night with Craig Bolerjack (CBS College Football) and Gordon Monson of the Salt Lake Tribune. He told them that if the offer from the MWC comes, TCU is prepared to accept it. Doesn't get much plainer than that. The day before, Craig Thompson was on with the same two and gave a lot of reasons why TCU is the favored choice, the biggest being the national recognition and the #5 Dallas/Ft. Worth TV Market."

well - makes you wonder if it is true & a done deal for sure - especially with all the talk...
where there's smoke there is usually fire - right? will see......
i think our november game with them could get that much hotter if it does happen...
hasn't there been several articles saying they've talked & if the deal is right they're as good as gone?
i think they're scrambling now...look at it this way, he knows they're getting the offer or he wouldn't have gone out on a limb as to this comment which he has eluded to in other news articles, too...
they really think they're that much better than us & i think more ways than they're willing to admit...
down deep i think they know (for a fact) that once we get this well-oiled trainwreck going again they realize they wont be able to keep up with us much like they couldn't in the 60's thru the 80's when they were our doormat...get your licks in now tcu b/c if we continue this %^%$# series it'll be on your dime with your heads on our sticks - annually!!!!
i'll bet all the tea in china that's one of the main reasons they're leaving!!!!! they can see the hand writing on the wall with the committment from our administration & bennett!!!!!!!
