I'm not sure any of this realignment will affect CUSA. If "small" changes are made in the BCS group...maybe ND joins the Big 10 and PAC 10 invites only Utah and Colorado. Big XII has an interesting decision on who to invite to backfill behind CO, but most likely candidate comes from the MWC. Down one member, I would expect MWC to just invite Boise. Down 2, depending on who the 2nd defection might be, they could pursue someone from the WAC or CUSA, but I wouldn't expect much of an impact on CUSA.

Worst case scenario would be PAC 10 and Big 10 going to 16 teams and the Big East trying to survive (assuming neither the SEC or ACC jumps into the expansion game). The Big East might have to look to CUSA East schools, which would cause CUSA to look at La Tech and Sun Belt schools to backfill.

If the SEC and ACC expand and realign, I don't see much impact on CUSA

Bottom line is that we are "next tier" athletically and will remain in that place regardless of how all of this goes down.
