Will all three be "whole band" trips, or will 1 or 2 be "pep band" trips?

It would be my desire to see the band be under the control on the Athletic department and not with the Meadows school or arts.
Meadows does not see the band as an art form and does not support it.
More support from AD is what I think would happen. Long term.

The Band isn't part of Meadows.

Bus, The athletic department doesn't exactly support the band either. They use and abuse them. But support, no.
Under the current philosophy of the athletic department vis a vis in game management, moving the band under the control of the AD would be almost as disastrous as moving the band under Meadows.

.... more disastrous than being under a natatorium?

I was in the band--under the natatorium. Kind of like living in New Orleans. I'll look forward to seeing the band members on Bourbon St. Go Ponies!

You have a vastly mistaken impression of our current athletic director if you think he gives a whit about the Mustang Band, or anything else that doesn't generate revenue.

It will great having the Band at Lubbock and I just hope we bring around a thousand fans also. I'm bringing 3 from South Texas.
