The first shot has now been officially fired. Let the slaughter begin.

i find it odd now that its happened, that Colorado made its own announcement. in some way this must mean A&M has not decided what to do yet. Otherwise they would have announced the new 6 all at one time.

[deleted] Baylor. Let 'em rot. Lets put together a nice fruit basket with a Welcome to CUSA card on top!

This simply was a way to get Colorado in and keep the Texas Legislature from forcing the Waco Bible School into the PAC. Kept Texas from being the Bad Guy.

Also, Colorado probably didn't have to wait on overtures from their state legislature. Why should the state of Colorado care if their school plays in the Big 12 or the Pac >10<17? Colorado State is already in a different conference, so no big deal there.

OK...This may be a crazy idea but what about purging the bottom half of the MWC? Wyoming, New Mexico, San Diego State?

More to come. The announcement said that the PAC X (11-12-14-16) was posed for growth. The question is which grows will be added to this malignant tumor of realignment?
