We are toast....I hope some of you are happy now!
Those of us who expected more from our football program and were berated because we would not accept horrible coaching and horrible leadership of our football program are only left to shake our heads. I hope those of you like burlybear, realbear, braytec, frisco, DCbear, x factor, goingtokashmir, pecos 45 and many many others are getting your fill now.

I have been saying it for years.....Football is king..nothing else matters while we watched pathetic teams and pathetic coaching.

I am sick to my stomach. We had a chance to do something great and we blew it. Thanks Sloan...Thanks Stanton...and Thanks to all of you who chose to put individuals above what was best for our football team. And all because the guy wore a leather vest, rode hogs and luged volcanos. How ridiculous is that?

We will be a Non BCS scrub team here shortly and you will have received the rewards that you so deserve.

Expecting accountability for the program made me an outcast, while many of you rejoiced and embraced losing.

Well, don't blame CU, don't blame UT, A&M or Tech....when you are wearing a Scrub conference logo hat in 3yrs.....smile and look at yourself as the reason why.

Tech is completely garbage as a school and as an Ath Dept..but they have the only thing that matters. A winning football program. So many of you were glowing over sears cup and grad rates....while we were getting slaughtered and the Red Raiders kept getting better.

Again...I hope you are happy. This is exactly what you deserved.

Some of you have left the boards while the rest of us are here to watch the aftermath. Convenient escape for you I guess.

truth is they scammed their way in and got a bunch of dough they didnt deserve in the first place. They are a small, backward school that does not belong and never did. Delivering the mighty waco tv market, they will be lucky if the CUSA picks them up.

The truth is that Baylor has suddenly become less relevant than a number of private schools in the Southwest. While today they would probably be amongst the favorites to win CUSA, that too will soon fade. A lousy program, on a lousy campus, in a lousy location.

Baylor is still living in a dream world....they truly believe they are ripe for the SEC and are far better than TCU....

That had to be written for The Onion. Even John Hinkley isn't that delusional.

HAD TO CHECK OUT OF THEIR SITE, they were arguing that now that Baylor would be in a non-BCS conference that they would be able outrecruit TCU, as TCU has used their last place football finishes in the Big 12 to discourage recruits. I almost asked them , "Are you sure that a major non-BCS conference would take you?", but didn't have the heart. Demonstrating reasoning like that, they are really hurting and should be left alone.

Each and every criticism of the SMU Model I've had over the last 20 years is now the official policy of the University. SMU lost because they tried to play Division 1A Football under an Ivy League Model. Baylor is dropping down because they hired poor coaches and were not competive at the level they were competing at - it doesn't havve a thing to do with their Academic Model which is based on minimum NCAA qualification standards and always has. If June Jones had been hired as a consultant 20 years ago to advise Ken Pye how to build a strong Division 1A program in Texas he would have recommend every single criticism I've had with the SMU Model over the years. question is why it took 20 years.

so how screwed is Baylor from a financial point of view...their budgets beyond 2012 are taking it in the shorts
