Alignment Scheduling

Anyone have insight as to what football schedules will look like next year or 2011? When would conference realignment affect football and other sports schedules?

Heard that the realignment won't affect scheduleing in FB until 2012 season so 2 seasons of lame duck-ness.

How is it going to work with these 16 team superconferences? 7 games against the teams in your division, then what? 2 against teams in the other?

Rumor here is that Nebraska will join the Big Ten for 2011 and get an immediate full share of the network to offset their Big 12 penalty. I assume we will find out tomorrow what is actually happening though.

That is my guess. PAC 10 already plays a 9 game conference schedule.
