Could C-USA Be Proactive?Just trying to think outside the box. Is there anything that the current conference can do to help itself?
Back off Warchild seriously.
Re: Could C-USA Be Proactive?Rumor is, after UH, ECU, UCF and Memphis get invites to AQ conferences, that CUSA will extend invites to ULaLa, Miami Ohio, NTSU and the Citadel. But now that Baylor is available, look for Miami Ohio to get the ax.
Re: Could C-USA Be Proactive? At least our Conference remains strong
Re: Could C-USA Be Proactive? The citadel isnt even a fbs team. Are these really some of the best options? Not that I would want any Sun Belt teams, but if we were to go after any of them why would we not go after some of their top teams like MTSU or Troy. I could see NTSU unfortunately due to the idea of adding another Texas school.

He is yanking your chain
Re: Could C-USA Be Proactive?Seriously. If this is what happens we SERIOUSLY are fcuked.
Back off Warchild seriously.
Re: Could C-USA Be Proactive?Hate to say it, but this is an every man for himself kind of situation. If we have a choice between staying in CUSA in its current form or moving up to an AQ conference, its been nice knowing you guys. On the other hand, Banowski, should be trying to assess whether combination deals are possible with BE, Big XII leftovers and CUSA. I suspect that schools like ECU, Marshall and UAB won't engender much interest from many AQ conferences.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
Re: Could C-USA Be Proactive?I don't see how doing anything at this point could be considered proactive.
Derail the Frogs!
Re: Could C-USA Be Proactive?
I heard that Valdosta State was in the mix and that Cavan might return as their coach.
Re: Could C-USA Be Proactive?
Now that would be a Coup d'état for CUSA.
