pathetic, pathetic, pathetic....every year we all say it cannot get any worse. However, every year the idiots in the athletic department manage to screw things up even more. How bad can it get? Answer this question? Who in the hell are we going to beat next year when we cannot even compete against average and sub-par Division 1 football teams? We are not playing top 25 teams every week. So much for any recruiting momentum from last years' good class. How much do you want to bet that several of our early commitments de-commit? We are screwed. Say hello to Division 1-AA or Division II. I have one more thing to say...Jim Copeland can shove that letter he sent out last week straight up his [deleted]!!!

Who the ____ are you people? Below are Jim Copeland's e-mail address and telephone number (office number, sorry I don't have his home phone number). Why don't you call him to arrange a meeting and let him know how you feel. I know it lacks the anonymity of the internet that you seem to enjoy so much, but I dare you to say this crap to Copeland or Bennett's face.

I think someone, Knucklestang maybe, said it was completely the O-Line. I am starting to completely believe that. I still think that the coaching is just horrendous right now, but think about...we had a great recruiting class last year with some great talent at quaterback, running back, linebacker, and safety. But was there that much talent at offensive line? When was the last time we actually landed a big time O-lineman? Wasn't Sterling Harris very highly recruited?

when is the last time a coach at a decent school expects a freshman to even play in the offensive line. With the greatest recruiting classes in the nation and in thistory of the school and without any admission restrictions Craig James, Eric Dickerson, freshman ALL-American Charles Waggoner, Joe Beard, Kevin Chaney, Scott Gibson, Wes Hopkins, Gary Moten, Richard Neely, Brian O'Meara, Gary Smith were 3-8 in their freshman year and all except Hopkins were extremely highly recruited. Learn something about football before you start complaining that we aren't good despite a decent freshman class.

Stallion, you really surprise me. You don't even read what I am saying. Did I say anything about a freshmen playing? NO. I simply said that in the past, we haven't landed any talented offensive line talent. So(for the layman) that means that if you consistently do not have talented offensive lineman in your recruiting classes then you will not have good blocking in the future...My god man, read my post before you attack me. You just like attacking...

Oh and in response to your "when is the last time a freshmen played on the line in a decent school." Look at LSU. I'm from Louisiana so I follow them too...Two of their five guys on the line started their freshmen year...Their decent aren't they Stallion? LSU has incredible talent, yet three years ago...two freshmen started on their line. And now, they have one of the best lines in the country. I am not saying we have talent to do that. I am just proving that you are wrong about O-lineman not starting. My whole point was that we haven't had consistent talent in the o-line recruiting classes...You need to read and understand my posts before you try to attack them..

I'm wrong that no coach should expect a freshman offensive lineman to start? you want to name them or do you want me to guess. I guess since you know so much about it you know that LSU had the No. 1 recruiting class in the country last year. SMU didn't sign a player much less a lineman who would get an offer from LSU last year.

Yes I do know that LSU has had two number one recruiting classes in the last three years....Bu like I said, I wasn't comparing SMU and LSU. But you tried to tell me that SMU with all that talent and no recruiting restrictions didn't start any freshmen O-line and furthermore you said that no decent team does. I was just showing you that that statement was completely unfounded...

It is not even close to being our only problem, you are right. But imagine how much better things could be if our Quaterbacks weren't constantly running for their lives?
