This story says the CUSA leaders will have a teleconference on Wednesday to discuss the realignment that's going on. Clearly they may want to make offers to some of the Big 12 outcasts, but I think they're also going to try to figure out if some of their current members want to move.
A posting on another board indicates that the Mountain West is looking to only expand to 12 schools. Right now they have 10 and expect to add either Kansas or Missouri depending on what A&M does with the SEC. The "Bear's Den" Baylor message board has a posting indicating that UH, Nevada, Iowa State, Fresno State and SMU are lobbying the MWC hard for the last spot.
I have no idea where any of this information on the MWC lobbying comes from. It could be wishful thinking. But it does make sense. If so, good for Orsini for trying to get us into an improved MWC.
