Well, that didn't work

I decided to go see a movie instead of listen to the game, my first miss since 1989 (that I had access to).

It didn't work.

I guess I'll go ahead and go to the Rice game, just in case the secret was a missed opportunity followed by a live viewing against an option team on artificial turf at 2pm, two weeks before playing a potential BCS eligible TCU team that is currently undefeated.

If that formula doesn't work, then I guess I'll wait until the TCU game where perhaps 0-11 has to play an 11-0 team to get a win.

If that doesn't work, then I guess I'll have to wait until next year after I sware off ever buying season tickets again, then succombing ultimately to the disease within me that makes me bleed despite the pain.

If that doesn't work, maybe Stallion can just shut down the program altogether and then there won't be anything for me to cheer for anymore.

And if that doesn't work, then maybe I will just die.

And if that doesn't work, then I am becoming a TCU fan.

Now you know that "WILL NOT WORK". If we would have had just a little offensive something we probably would have had a game. To be honest, we miss Bartel.

Joyous, I saw the Matrix. Started at 2:00. Coincidence? Anyone? Anybody???...When I got to the car after the movie the game had about 6 minutes left. I missed 54 minutes. Good decision? Anybody? Miguel? Anyone???...Bartel. Anyone? Hannah??? Anyone?...

Hey Nacho, I guess I've just become numb to it all. No firing me up this weekend. Just lay down and die. See you this weekend.

Joyous, I have found the secret to SMU football. Don't watch or listen. It does wonders for those postgame blahs. Seriously I know you're hurting but there are only 2 more games left. We'll get through it. See you Saturday.

Joyous, I'm sorry, Bartel would have made no difference and we would be just that much farther behind the eight ball for next year. Phillips has vastly more potential than what is apparently a very immature Bartel, and we have got to look to next year.

Sorry Chris C. has to go out on this note. He is a warrior.
