I didn't see that anyone posted this, but here is an article from a Nebraska paper. Paints UT in a very negative light, which to me is hilarious.

Love the horns or hate them, they have earned the right to do what is best for them by being one of the top college sports players in the nation with a multitude of fan support and wealthy backing.
The move was good for Nebraska, just like Texas holding everything together was good for the rest of whats left, regardless of how much money the horns make.

Nebraska writers having to reassure themselves in hindsight is the funniest part about this article.
Hook'em.

They just hate UT up in Nebraska, and hey, I can relate to that.

Curious if Nebraska ( and Colorado) truly regret their premature jump?
Better the Devil you know then the Devil you don't.
Just ask Baylor!

While I would rather be in the Big 12, not too many people are upset--especially after the way everything went down. I think everyone figures the same thing would happen in another ten years and then there might not be anywhere to go. Plus, Nebraska will still get more money than they would have under the new Big 12 tv contract.
Also, from what I understand from some inside info, Nebraska was gone regardless. This was in the works for a long time, and they knew they weren't going to get what they needed to stay.

Great article and on target. Nebraska is one of the greatest FB program in the history of college sports. They earned their stripes and don't have to lick the Horns hoofs.
The move to the Big Ten is absolutely the best for them and the Big Ten, while letting the Big XII survive. Alternatively, the conference would have evaporated, triggering the mega conference nuclear cascade party.

All this hand-ringing which for all intents and purposes was started by Missouri!
I'm so pleased that it is Missouri who now find themselves so much the worse for the wear!
ROTFLMAO

The Big 12(10) is on borrowed time, much like the SWC after Arkansas left in the early '90s.
This was a practice run for UT.

Who is Texas going to run to next? PAC 10 +2 has been burned. UT doesn't want the SEC powerhouses in their bacKyard. Will NU work for UT in the Big X+2? A$M will look to get out of the UT as will OU.
Big XII-2 is dying and UT may be left holding an empty bag.

A&M had an out this time and did not use it, why would wouldn't they if they wanted out from under Texas? UT runs college football now folks, the precedent has been set.

Tell that to Aggie - who just threw a turd in their punch bowl - sure they get more dough but they wanted the Pac whatever - and now it wont be available in the future since the seats will be full. They got flanked by the dumb aggies.
