Hopefully much of this realignment chatter is behind everyone and SMU Athletics can go forward, as is, and produce in the very conference it is fortunate to be part of. For what things are worth, SMU does not yet bring much to the table in a revenue to do industry. That said, SMU needs to take care of business on the field and continue to in the classroom. Be certain that brighter times lie ahead for SMU athletics and a move could be in the works...one never knows. For fans of SMU, in the short term, be content tearing up the C-USA pack and then see what options may be. All of the speculation and wishful thinkers needed to realize that SMU is not yet a real hot commodity so why would it be considered??? Last season was nice but more are needed. Just win baby. Thats how.
