We have been worse at football for many years and have a fraction of the alumni, and basically zero non-alumni fans.

What do you think?

I think that the University of Houston while they may or may not have the same attendance and donation numbers we do (which is what I really wanted to know), the school is vastly different than SMU. U of H is a commuter school like UTA and has very few students actually living on or even near campus which I think means they have less of a connection to their university in the future, which can therefore mean less donations and less participations in school activities such as football games.

If I were to say "students generally don't go to football or basketball games, and are fans of other schools like UT or A&M instead" what school would you think I was referring to?

Texas State.

SMU students are fans of Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, USC and Ed Hardy.

I think you answered your own question with oyur post earlier when you said we have been bad at football for many years. That part we cant change. June and the staff will brings wins which will bring people back to SMU and to Football. I dont know if there have been an increase in donations or season tickets but I read somewhere that applications to the school were way up, so someone is paying attention.

I still would like to know if our numbers look as bad as U of H.
