Re: Dane KingI wonder if that means he left the stadium for the day (family emergency, etc.), is off the team, left school, etc.
Stallion's on the case!
Re: Dane KingIf you look over on the recruitment board, there are some threads about this kid. Apparently he may be the JUCO QB Bennett mentioned bringing in for next year. I am sure Stallion knows more about this than I do, but this kid sounds like a player. He plays at Blinn JC (near College Station?) and sounds like he has some skills.
From high on the hilltop, in Big D...
Re: Dane KingRivals has him receiving offers from SMU, Baylor and I think Louisiana Laffeyette. He also was first team All Texas JC. Had a great year-something around a 65% passer.

Re: Dane KingCool!
Blinn JC is located in Brenham, TX. Also home of Blue Bell Ice Cream. :thumbupcool:
Re: Dane KingI hope his "personal issues" are behind him and that Bobby Chase can bring him along with him to SMU!
Go PONIES!
Re: Dane KingMaybe he was attending a tryout for a rock band.
Or perhaps the IM flag football team he was on made it to the championship game, and he did not want to miss the big game. Once you go brown, you can't turn it down!
Re: Dane KingYou always gotta watch out for 20-year-old athletes who miss games for "personnel reasons" ... <img src="http://nbadraft.net/profiles/headshots/eddie-griffin-hd2.jpg" alt=" - " /> (wonder if it had something to do with his dog) First name \"Mister\"
Middle name \"Period\" Last name.... \"T\"
Re: Dane KingLOL, that is a great way of putting it! Gotta be careful about jumping from the frying pan into the fire. Go Ponies!!
