Re: SI. BCS more secure than everI think we can all say that without even reading the article. I'm a believer now. It's here to stay with NO opposition.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!
For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.
Re: SI. BCS more secure than everCollege football runined forever.
Re: SI. BCS more secure than everIn an age that puts entertainment as the ultimate end, this was inevitable. Money has corrupted the ideal of what college football is supposed to be about. For this reason, I've not been interested in the NFL for many years and now I do not care one bit for what has become the upper tier of college football.
Re: SI. BCS more secure than ever
I agree with you 100% with the exception of your above comment. I think it is even less entertaining now. If they really wanted "entertainment" would they not include all the teams? So many alums & spectators who don't have their dog (school) in the hunt anymore "wont" watch the bowls nor the bcs-BS championship game anymore. Why waste our time? Our team will never get that opportunity to take part - nor will anyone else?! I, myself, haven't watched any of the bcs-BS bowls with the exception of the TCU-BSU game since they started this cartel. And I know so many others who haven't or refuse to as well. There are so many other people now days who simply have gone to other forms of sports & the like. BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!
