Sporting News Ranks SMU #67

Ahead of #68 Virginia, #71 Michigan, #74 Colorado, #75 Louisville, #80 Colorado State, #81 Fresno State, #82 Iowa State, #83 Vanderbilt, #85 Kansas State, #86 Wake Forest, #94 Illinois, #97 Arizona State, and #98 Minnesota just to name some better known names. Looks like that bowl win really impressed their writers. Hopefully we can live up to and surpass this ranking! :wink:

The other day I actually looked up Virginia's football history and I was actually shocked to see how utterly mediocre, at best, they are historically.

I looked up Minnesota's history about one or two years ago and was shocked to see how great their history was. They have six national championships, granted they are way before my time but still.
