Posted: Tue Jul 06, 2010 3:04 pmIn my opinion, and I hope it not biased, the Big 12 won't last very long. Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Missouri, Kansas, Baylor, ISU, will all bail at the first opportunity. And I don't blame them. Texas will abandon the conference with no qualms about the ones left behind. Too bad, so sad. But the money was too good to pass up. They've done it before and they will do it again. (Almost did)

If those other conferences said, "UTx, you're too big of a pain in the neck, so stay in Austin with your own TV network and don't call us." If there is such a thing as karma...

Posted: Tue Jul 06, 2010 9:36 pmWhere will Texas go? Big 10? balled by Nebraska; Pac 10? been there done that-fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me; SEC? why screw a good thing? What if Texas has a party and no one shows? Better yet, what if no one will play them except schools looking for a one-time paycheck? Maybe they go undefeated, but can't make a BCS bowl based upon strength of schedule--opps they are already close!
