One suspects we would have gotten a commit from this kid if we didn't deny admission to two marginal academic players recently.

Posted: Fri Jul 09, 2010 9:00 amPhil Knight couldn't take the rejection. He pressured ESPN to put his alma mater's logo next to the headline. I could understand an innocent mistake, but Oregon and SMU aren't even remotely close in location, conference, letter, logos, etc...

JJ has connections to the NFL for all of you wide eyed hopefuls come one, come all.
Besides that if you’re not a five star. You may get the bench else where for 5 years.
And if you do pass and graduate the SMU paper will come in handy.

Guess our Billionaires made some calls, headline is fixed an now displays correct logo.
