UNT/Hall/Moreland

A couple of people asked me if Brenham defensive back Jeremy Hall might end up at UNT.
I asked, and the answer is no.
My take was a controversy of this nature could help UNT should it ever have to compete with SMU for a recruit not named Biff from the "Land of the Silver Spoon", and we all know what type of town we are talking about.
A couple of people said this could be the end of June Jones. That the Ponies are going down.
Well, just when you think that might be the case, SMU picked up a commitment from California defensive end Davon Moreland, who Rivals.com has ranked among the top 250 players in the country. The guy had offers from USC, Washington and Oregon State.
For those of you scoring at home, that's the second player ranked nationally at his position (running back K.C. Nlemchi is the other) SMU has picked up in this recruiting class.
It might be a little soon to be writing off SMU.

Who is Brett Vitto? I realize it's a blog, but it's still on a reputable paper that I assume he writes for? Kind of stupid to be on record with comments such as the Biff jab. Is he a NTSU graduate? That doesn't bode well for him when the DMN predictably fires the current beat writers and has new openings. Aren't reporters supposed to be objective?

I believe Whitmire, like me, is both a Lake Highlands and SMU grad.

is or are...
Lake Highlands Grad?
SMU/Turner wronged these two young men.
This needs to be made right.
