I found a Mustang Mania poster in a storeroom that had been in there for years. Remarkably, it hasn't faded. It wasn't rolled up well and has some bends, but no creases. It is a large 24" X 36" poster, sponsored by Stop & Go Markets. It has a montage of pics - Texas Stadium, the Dallas skyline, campus, crowd scene, Mike Ford, Emanuel Tolbert, Harvey Armstrong, Eric Ferguson, Coach Meyer, the Mustang Band, etc. I am guessing it was created for the '79 season.
I've now got it in a poster frame and it looks pretty good. It's not perfect because of the way the poster was stored for the last 25 years, but not bad given the circumstances. Unfortunately, I really don't have any wall space for it, and if I gave it to one of my SMU friends, the others would feel slighted. I'm kicking around the idea of selling it, but don't know if it has any monetary value or not. So, is this worth anything or not?

I have two such posters. One color and one black and white with a schedule. One was for the '79 season and the other for the 80 season. Both in decent shape. Both framed and hanging in the house. Nobody has offered me a thing for them.
They might make a good dorm room decoration for some kid but I doubt they would give up a few coins for them.

You could put it up on loan (you could have it back at any time you desired) at a local sports bar near campus so that fellow mustangs could enjoy it when they visited the establishment. you would probably receive a complimentary point burger when you bring it by as long as i know you're coming. PM me if you're interested.
