Gettin' excited

Six weeks away, baby!
Defensive tackle, middle linebacker, and running back. Those are the 3 biggest X factors for me. If all three break our way and we get good production from each position, I see this team kicking some serious butt this year. If we end up with a big dropoff in production at one or more of those positions, this could be a frustrating year.
I think 6-6 is a safe bet based on strength of schedule. If these guys get into a groove though, I don't think 8 or 9 wins is that much of a stretch.

I'm getting pumped too.
Just think. Last year at this time, our team was going to practice coming off a 1-11 season.
Think what having a winning season and convincing bowl victory can do for the off-season workouts and practice/team mentality coming into this year.

A win over TCU would make any final record this year acceptable to me.
Otherwise - I would liek to see at least 6-6.

Ah yes. . .beating TCU would be fantastic.
I really have no idea what to expect in the Tech game. Both squads have so many ?s.

Texas Tech has a lot less serious questionmarks than some of you suggest.
Yes they have new Coaches but they have all offensive skill performers back including 2 experienced QBs and RBs.

All expect is an increase in the quality of the product that justifies the significant rise in required Mustang Club donations.

We are going to have a blast this year.
