In getting caught up too much with the measurables scouts often forget quarterback is the one position in sports where a players mental makeup is more important than his physical makeup.

This will all go well, until they decide to ask Coner if he can read and write. Then, down the drain it will go.

We don't know the specific reasons that the two players were denied admission, nor will we (per privacy laws). Without knowing specifics, it's misguided — not to mention counterproductive to players and recruits and their families who read this — to sit here and predict doom.

I agree - not every response needs to relate to the admissions issues. Give it a rest or put it on the related threads. Some of us do not want to revel in the misery 24 hours a day - it is ok if you do, but give some of us a break. Thanks.

Sure, his offers are not top notch right now, but he has interest from a lot of great programs and will more than likely be receiving more offers before it's over.

Part of his gaudy stats are due to the fact that he is surrounded by blue-chip stars, but the guy led his team to an undefeated season ans state championship in the best football state besides Texas.

I'm definitely excited about Preston's commitment.

If he were 6'4", not 6'0" like Drew Brees, he'd have more offers...
