Nice to read but lets see what happens on the field. We are not deep especially on the D-line so we need to stay healthy.
Love the thought.
Go Mustangs.

Kids developing and staying healthy will be key. Injuries will put us, especially on defense, in a deep hole. Nice to see a little respect for a change, though.

Great to see a positive article. My guess...and this is simply a guess...is that most other CUSA teams have depth problems similar to ours.

Good to see someone in the media recognizing UH isn't the automatic conference champ. This should be a fun year and winning the conference would be even more fun.

let's just hope their is no "soph jinx" that takes Padron down this year. For that matter, let's hope that all last year's newcomers are better this year. They will need to be.
Breaking down the schedule, it's easy to say "let's just hope we come thru the 1st 4 games at 2-2"; then you can look at the middle stretch the same way (hopeful we go at least 2-2); then the final 4 games mean the difference between bowl eligible, winning season, or taking a step back in 2010.
Hope I'm wrong and these guys come out and surprise with another season of 8-5 (or better). I expect it will all come down to staying healthy. Looking at the roster, it only takes a key injury or two and 2010 could be a struggle.
