He should get free season tickets for the rest of his life when he or anyone else hits 400.

I am actually the Superfan that has been to all these games for 37 years and it is my first time to ever post even though I read PonyFans.com alot. I enjoy the comments people make. It's also great to know there are so many Mutang fans out there that CARE and participate. I was completely shocked that rivals.com included me in their Top 25 Things to Watch in 2010 :) Now the pressure will be on to continue the streak!

I have sat through alot of up and down games and seasons. But it's all been worth it. I love going to the games. There's no place I would rather be in the Fall than at an SMU game. I do like and suppport all our sports (men and women) - I just don't have an attendance streak in those because I have to work sometime. I'm a realtor in Dallas and still fly for Southwest a little to keep up with my benefits.

I'm VERY excited about this season. I feel we are at a "crossroads" in our athletic future right now. June and his excellent coaching staff are doing a GREAT job and we need to do EVERYTHING to keep THEM. I think conference realignment is going to happen again in the next year or two. We need to do everything we can to position ourselves to advance in the next conference shuffle. After 2 years I think it might be too late. We need to add baseball and men's track (and possibly women's softball) to be included in a higher tier conference. These are just my opinions rooted from what I hear.

We need to make big strides wih the school's administration to get them to live up to what they promised US and June when he came here. This is a must. We need to work on these things and we will be OK. This university is great and so are our fans and students. We deserve great Athletic Teams and a higher tier conference. I have alot of confidence that we can achieve this if we stay "on top" of this and work together and let our voices be heard. It's OUR university and OUR athletic teams. Believe me it will be worth it. I'm glad to finally be a member of PonyFans. See you at the games... Who knows YOU may start a streak of your own!!!

Hope the Mustang Nation gives Paul some recognition for reaching 400. Truly the definition of SMU supporter.

Paul, are you the cheerleader they nicknamed 'Loudmouth' for your enthusiasm at Moody?

If so, you made a memorable impression on a young teenager many moons ago.

Probably, I was pretty loud ...I could yell really loud at the refs too!!! Thanks for the compliment if it was me. I was a cheerleader from 1974-76 when Moody was packed and rockin' (before Dallas had the Mavericks).
