Padron was great. Mentioned a couple of times the team wanted to go to The Liberty Bowl this year.
After interview, Hansen noted that SMU had recentedly turned down a couple of NCAA qualifiers and that the school evidently didn't want to talk about it. He said as a condition for interviewing Padron he had to agree not to bring it up.
I'm surprised Hansen agreed to that.

So let me get this straight.
SMU: "You can talk to Padron, but not if you're going to mention the admissions scenario."
Dale: "No sweat."
So then he talks to Padron, and mentions it anyway? I know the media is a necessary part of life in college athletics, but this guy is a world-class tool. He ambushed Coach Jones a couple of years ago, and then he went against the spirit of his agreement with SMU. The school has to stop giving him interviews. One of his minions can do it, but it should get to the point where you don't do anything that involves Hansen. He swears he doesn't dislike SMU, but his actions say otherwise ... loud and clear.
