did anyone else notice that george dunham said that db hall was headed to smu at the thsca game last night. george had a stupid grin on his face after he said it.

George has a hang up about SMU. Many from North Texas do.

Seems like every school has some other less significant school that desperately wants a rivalry, but they can't get the more powerful school to notice they are there. Even if these schools seem to have very little to do with one another.

With Texas, it's A&M. Seriously, does anyone in Austin care about the Aggies anymore?
With us, it's North Texas. They HATE us, and yet, we really don't care.
With Texas Tech, I'd argue it's us. Unless we're talking about Craig James, many in Lubbock probably don't realize we have a football program. And yet we rag them unmercifully on this board.

Tech will know who we are on September 6th.

Speaking as a somewhat rabid SMU fan, who married into an entire family of extraordinarily rabid Texas Tech fans, I pray nightly that you are right.
