Interesting with regard to non-qualifier issue. D.J. Jones was reported to be a likely non-qualifier since signing date then last week Jones claimed he had qualified but is sent home a couple of days later. Did A&M pull off an SMU without a big media fiasco. Have to check into this.


â–  Denison back changes mind on Texas A&M: Freshman running back D.J. Jones of Denison has decided not to enroll at Texas A&M this fall, coach Mike Sherman said.

"I sat down with D.J. and we both came to the conclusion it was in his best interest to go back home and re-evaluate what it is he wants to do with his life," Sherman was quoted as saying in a brief news release.

You seem to be missing the point that so was D.J. Jones according to reports. I've been following this story for months. Also had a Class A Misdemeanor of Property Theft in May.
