Hope someone can help with this question:
will be attending the SMU Navy game with the gf and family and we've decided to get a hotel for sat. night. I'd love to stay where other mustang fans are and enjoy any SMU events...how can I get any info?
Thanks in advance!!!

MC had a package either at the Loews or the Courtyard by Marriott in Annapolis.
I opted for the Hilton Garden Inn at BWI.

I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott for the last game and enjoyed it very much. If you have never been to Annapolis it is well worth the time to come in several days early and enjoy the historic town, tour the Naval Academy and partake of some excellent seafood. There are free shuttle buses that tour the area from the downtown Chamber of Commerce building. Last time we had Mustang fans scattered around several hotels and there was not a centralized concentration other than the hotel used by the package tour supported by the Mustang Club. I went to that hotel ( cannot instantly recall that nearby hotel just down the street from the Marriott) and joined the Mustang Club reception. Also sign up for the Mustang Club tail gate party which will be held just outside the stadium. Lots of WDC and East Coast area alums will attend and you will be surprise who you might meet. ( Caution: Do not bring your Mustang helmet to the game or the MPs will brand you a terrorist and you will be interrogated to which Knucklestang will attest. We had to launch a save Knucklestang campaign just before kickoff to rescue him and initiate a jail break without the helmet.)

thanks! I live in DC and have been to Annap many times, including the terrential downpour loss 2 years ago. We stayed at the O'Callahan downtown, and it was great but a bit pricey. I wanted to get involoved with any SMU pre/post game activities.
