Is SMU for real?
When you make your first bowl appearance in 25 years, it's easy to see why Mustangs fans are excited for bigger and better things.
Following a 1-11 season, SMU improved to an 8-5 season and an appearance in the Hawaii Bowl, thanks in part to sophomore quarterback Kyle Padron.
Padron will be guiding a run-and-shoot offense that coach June Jones made popular in Hawaii. Last season, the Texas native threw for 1,922 and 10 TDs in sharing time with Bo Levi Mitchell.
