JJ mentioned in the Honolulu article posted a week or so back that he was bringing Henry in to sing the national anthem and halftime for a few games this year. Willy K too.

I believe that Henry Kapono may be kind of a good luck charm for JJ. I think that he sang the National Anthem for some big games at Hawaii against Pac-10 and other teams...and Hawaii's record was very good in those games even though they were the underdog in almost all of them. So, JJ bringing him in for the TCU game is not a surprise.
If Kapono performs at the TCU game and SMU wins...superstitious SMU fans won't mind Kapono performing at SMU games!

I don't mind JJ bringing him in, but I hope they aren't hoping this will boost attendance. How many in Dallas have even heard of this guy?

that would be problematic for Waikiki, since they have to import the sand to maintain that beach as it is
