but, why is it set so far back from the goal post. does it still seem huge from the opposite endzone seats? wouldn't it seem huge-er if it were moved up?

With this and the new sound system, should be a nice upgrade.
Now, we just need a decent announcer and updates from the top 25 and CUSA regularly.

I saw it from the opposite end zone -- looks real good. Big upgrade. Don't forget, it's my understanding that all video/audio is being upgraded. Assume better inet viewing for those out of town.

Are they still installing the flame cannons on the sides for TDs?

hopefully, as they upgrade the announcers et al, they also learn not to show unfavorable instant replays that tilt penalties against us (like last year), especially with that really huge screen (!).

I wouldn't say it is HUGE, by any stretch. But it is definitely "right sized" for our stadium. It looks bigger in person, the pics above don't do it justice. It will be a 1,000 times better than before and we will finally be able to make out replays when sitting at the 50. Plus, you can't understate the upgrade to HD.

I personally would have gone with a Ford sized version of Godzillatron, but I don't pay the bills.
