Great interview — thanks. Sterling played above my expectations last year, and by the end of the year, was one of the best defensive players we had. Looks like he's ready to go!

Hopefully he'll be able to heal up completely from the turf toe. I've never had it, but I understand it can be one of those lingering maladies that are hard to heal up.

AT LEAST. Best CB in the conference, and could start in a lot of other conferences, too.

Nice interview. Kid seems to be exactly what a developing team needs in terms of leadership and setting an example in workouts.

Couldn't agree with you more.

Sterling needs to sit as long as he needs until he is 100% (even if it takes all camp). He came off the knee injury and played great in Hawaii with zero reps. Just needs to stay in shape and watch tape. We can't afford to lose another DB.

I tend to agree. I watched practice Saturday, and he looks like he's in shape — much better shape than he was at the start of the 2009 season. Sit until you're healthy, Sterling. Later in the season is when we need you healthy.

Good-looking young man and well -spoken and a heckuva corner. Here's hoping for a great year. I kept thinking "Smokey Robinson" as I looked at the video.

I agree - rest and get him healthy. He's in good shape - lost 10 lbs. this summer and endurance has improved. Def. need him healthiest week 1. Gonna be a beast this year.
