17-0 is basically an insurmountable lead for this team to overcome.

Looks like Nov 29th might settle whether we are in fact the WORST team in I-A football. Army lost to TCU by 27 pts. My guess is the spread for our game with TCU will be at least about 34 pts. TCU will probably beat us by 60 pts or more.

Does this team have any life left in it?

I have to accept responsibility for this dismal season. I changed my routine and instead of flying my SMU flag on game day, I decided I would only fly the flag after a win. Also switched from my red to blue koozie and sure enough, we haven't won a game since.

I'm putting the flag out and switching to the red koozie to give the guys a chance of mounting a 2nd half comeback.

On a serious note, I remain convinced it will get better. These guys will become JRs and SRs and there will be more help on the way in the next couple of years recruiting classes. By the time we hit CUSA, we WILL be competitive.
