BETTER SEATS AT TECH!

Postby ALEX LIFESON » Mon Aug 09, 2010 7:40 pm

Called Bethany at the SMU ticket office today, she said Mustang fans will be in section 116, instead of the usual 13. Much better seats!

Be careful. 116 is closer to the sun.

Looks a lot closer to the student section to me...

I would call their ticket office and ask them what section is furthest away from their bell ringer.

I'm glad to here this because the last two times I have been out there for an SMU/Tech game, my seats have been between the goal post.

No big deal. Just stay clear of Gates 6 & 7 and the student sections in red.

Strange, since they'll probably stil put the band in section 13. Tech's band is in Section 20. There are still students, or at least younger alumni, all throughout that upper deck section in 117-120. Although I'm not sure how the expansion affects the seating.

I'll be in Section 18, behind the SMU bench about 20 rows up.

I’m working on a budget over here. I would like to go to every away game but it’s not going to happen.

My away games will be Houston, UTEP, and Tulane. The rest I will watch on College Sports Network. I bet when we start winning allot of our games we pick up one or two more CUSA games of the week.

I will be there along with my family and the "so few and proud" mustang fans yelling for our guys. Last time there must have been less than 100 people in Lubbock to offset the profane ignorance of the tt students and their drunken fervor. North Texas would probably travel with 5000 to 10000 if they could get the tickets. SMU....pathetic following for a prgram on the rise. Big talkers but little action.
