PonyFans.com met with SMU Mustangs junior defensive end Marquis Frazier Monday after practice to discuss his offseaon conditioning (Frazier showed up noticeably stronger and, along with Taylor Thompson, consistently led their group in the conditioning 220s last Saturday), new wrinkles in defensive scheme, and who will fill in for departed senior Chris Parham.

Enjoy!

excellent. great stuff.
thanks for asking him how he feels about sliding inside to NT. I've been wondering a long time whether he feels good about it or not. but, it really sounds like these kids are definitely committed to the team's success.
very excited to see them in action.

You'd never know it to look at him that the guy weighs just a tick under 300. He's really developed a tremendous physique.

On one hand, I'd really like the idea of having that sort of athleticism at NT. On the other hand, as good as he was last year at end, I think he's going to be significantly better this year with the added size, conditioning and knowing the defensive schemes.

Another 15 pounds and some help with word choice would make him perfect.

This young man has a great heart and insight for life and it's meaning. He studies the game and is smart to run his ideas past Mason.
Go Mustangs
Better IS Better.
