Kyle Padron burst on to the scene last year for the resurgent SMU Mustangs. The young gunslinger from Southlake Carroll High School won five of the six games he started in 2009 completing 67 percent of his passes. With passing Guru June Jones heading up the program, Padron stands a good chance of being mentioned in Heisman circles before his college career is over.
