Special thanks once again for the Mustang Mania bumper stickers. I gave my daughter one today as see was about to head to SMU to move in. She is a Fr. She was very excited and realized the age and significance. I have a feeling it will never be used as a bumper sticker. She has a priceless look of joy when I gave it to her and that means a lot to me.

Thanks again for sharing Mustang Mania with us and bringing joy to a new colt and an old pony.

Ditto - Thanks for the sticker, Peruna81. It was very generous of you giving them away.

That wall Pony is a Ford not a SMU. Wrong direction.

I know; it was given to me by the artist a year before HB Pony Daughter even sniffed SMU (She was always going to USC, until SMU Ponied Up)!

He has a license from Ford and he specially painted it for me a metallic orange to match the Giugiaro Show Mustang
Image
displayed at the L.A. Auto Show in 2006.

The pony is 5' long (the monitor in the picture is 35").

I spoke with the artist about modifying it to run the other direction, change the head and tail, and market them for SMU Ponyfans, but he felt there wasn't nearly enough demand for the work involved and SMU licensing.

It still looks great on my wall and the "Mustang Mania" sticker maintains the SMU link.

PONY UP
FIGHT ON

Ask the artist again, 'apparently' the licensing is easier, but not as easy at it should be. I'd buy one.

A big thank you as well, Peruna81! Seeing that bumper sticker when I opened up the envelope brought back a flood of great memories. My 12 year old son, who attends the games with me, thought it was pretty cool. Maybe if he ends up going to SMU I will give it to him.
