Again, glad to get some press but is this really reporting or just being able to say I/we did an SMU story.

Wasn't exactly a forum for media. Yes, there were some reporters there, but Coach Jones talked to the media for about a minute after the program ... during which the quotes were basic "we want to do better this year" stuff.

You know the business better than I do.
Again happy for any coverage. Could of added some more details; such as, as the SMU band played the excitement and anticipation along with sound was so great a large bald mans hair grew back and stood up on his head. Then throw in a couple quotes from Mestengo and make mention of the chocolate dessert.

Not to dog pile Kate, but she shows up for the last few minutes of a three hour practice, gets a couple of quotes, and on to something she cares about. In her defense, it's not up to her what makes the paper. The DMN coverage has been very poor so far, but, with ponyfans.com, rivals, and scout pounding out the info everyday, I'm thinking about saving some money, and telling the DMN goodbye! Pony Up Ya'll!

Agree but this is the only DI school in Dallas and JJ and what's going on is a good story. The school runs enough ads in the DMN. They should crank it out and drum up some interest. At least as much ink as South Lake gets.
