The Killerfrogs board is going nuts over this. Don't know if it is going to happen, but I think at least something is going to come out of it. I like the fact that the Non-AQ's are at least trying to work together to get something done.

If this happens, and the have-nots are guaranteed automatic access to the BCS every year, are we delaying the inevitable, or does this satisfy the have-nots enough to stay together when a Big 12, SEC, Big East, comes calling?

I think this 20 team have-not conference makes too much sense, so it probably won't happen.

JT taught me many moons ago to have no expectations and be surprised and happy if the results are better

I still think teams would leave if a more "prestigious" conference came calling.

Wow that is extremely interesting to all but makes sense and would be a fun conference. The fact that these two non BCS groups to take a pre- emptive strike is greatness! The major conferences will be doing this sooner or later.

If the 20 moves to 16, can the "new conference" still retain auto BCS?

Big 20?

I assume that as part of this deal, the C-USA championship game goes away and the conference champ from each league would effectively play a "play-in" game. The only alternative would be the highest BCS ranked school from either conference going to the BCS.

I assume the MAC, WAC and Sunbelt schools are apoplectic over this.

And the MAC, the decimated WAC, and the Belt are not going to be crying foul to every pol in America about the inequality!

The Bc$ and the NCAA make me ILL!

Great Minds think alike, Dooby, at the same time!

This really makes more sense as for as getting a Champion of MWC/CUSA in the BCS.

Its about time the outsiders started working together, not sure what actually makes the BCS grant access now though. If something comes to pass, we actually dont want to be in a division with TCU. Let them stay with their goats, we'll stay with our CUSA Westerners and have a chance to win divisions.

Wonder what this does to the iron skillet, guess we could play them twice if they are in a different division if this came thru
