Apparently ESPN and Time Warner are fighting over fees and will be parting ways on Sep 2nd of they cant come to an agreement. Many will remember something similar with Direct Tv a while back. Happens pretty frequently. Anyway, was listening to KVIL this morning (I know, I know dont make fun) and they ran this commercial saying the above. Only, they added in: If you're a Mustang fan, please know that espn will ot be runnong on Time Warner after Sep 2nd. So you will miss the opening game of the season on Sep 5th on ESPN. I just that was neat that we got a mention there.

Hey Dutch...will this be a problem for 1st and 10 or do you have other options like Dish Network or something?

Hopefully that resolves itself with ESPN or I'll be looking for another provider soon. I've had no issues with TWC except for the User Interface/ Menus are terrible on remote.

Heard not so great things about U-Verse. Direct TV might be the option for me.

I loved the menus for TWC in Austin until they updated it last month.

I'm a TWC guy so I'm observing it with some interest. But these things tend to go down to the last minute then get resolved. But yeah, I would have a SERIOUS problem not having the ESPN channels at my house.

That's what I thought was so neat about it. Been hearing the commercial for weeks but that they felt the need to mention SMU was cool. I was listening to it with half an ear when they said "Mustang Fans." Then I was thinking, "Probably something to do with the car." But lo and behold, they were talking about our game against Tech.

They felt sorry for you since you were listening to that station.

Raplh came to Austin last week and said you need to post more

I like to listen to songs older than me. Better than a lot of the crap on nowadays. I will admit to cycling between 88.5, 98.7, kvil and I think 103.7. I know...pretty gey. I sometimes make it over to Jack. And I have The Fan and ESPN radio on my final two slots.

Tell Ralph I dislike posting. Unless I'm feeling witty. Or someone annoys me.

Time Warner will show our homes that ESPN doesn't cover, and one road game! Pony Up!
