Bennett criticism

Let's hold off the criticism until Signing Day 2004. Many of the 'valid' criticisms we all have about Bennett would be nebulous if we were winning, but they are magnified with losing, especially 0-11 losing.

"If he signs a decent class, then we will be alright. IF not, then we should begin to worry.

Barry Switzer never ever considered himself to be a great coach, despite 3 National Championships. "Better players makes for better teams."

Like he said after Chan Gailey took over the Cowboys, "same players, same results."

I am a bit concerned about recruiting as well. Just haven't heard much noise on the recruiting boards.

Good call, GRGB about canning criticism until after signing day. Recruits read this board (I know of at least one who reads it EVERY DAY), and shamelessly bashing OUR coach doesn't exactly lend itself to helping the coaches sign the kind of recruits who can turn this thing around. They'll get it done, but we can either help or slow him down. President Turner said he gets two more full recruiting classes to prove himself. Let's accept that and support Coach and his team, starting with serious support in two weeks at Ford Stadium. Save the complaints until after Signing Day.
